Guadeloupe has no more secrets for you? think again ! Go as a couple in Robinson mode to discover the small islands, hidden treasures with little traffic, accessible by boat from Saint-François. What better than a desert island for a honeymoon? We are as if attracted by La Désirade and its tranquility: barely more than a thousand inhabitants, including the Lesser Antilles iguanas, dragon-like herbivores, and skink lizards, two species threatened with extinction. Your new traveling companions are also present on the islets of Petite-Terre, an uninhabited protected nature reserve. Plan a catamaran excursion to admire the turquoise waters of the lagoon…

To curl up together in an eco-responsible cocoon of love, we suggest Basse-Terre and the eco-lodges of Ilot Palmiers, at the entrance to the Guadeloupe National Park.

. Labeled National Park Spirit and winner of the Palme Verte tourism competition, the establishment offers massages in the river, cooking classes

creole and homemade coconut juice. Paradise on the sea

Canoe trip for two in the Kaw marshes, in French Guiana

Your heart is racing? It's normal, you are in the Amazon forest, the lungs of the earth, and more precisely, in the Kaw marsh, south of Cayenne, in the center of the largest natural and humid reserve in France. Embark as a couple aboard a canoe and listen to the moving fauna: herons, kingfishers, snipes. The more adventurous will wait until evening to observe zebus and capybaras. For a magical night in the forest, let yourself be tempted by a romantic getaway at Camp Cariacou in a carbet, a wooden shelter typical of the region with hammocks as a double bed… Rather beach than swamp? Head for the coast to watch the leatherback turtles laying eggs. A spectacle of which only nature has the secret.

For supplies, we sneak into the colorful market of Cayenne with intoxicating flavors: watermelons, spices, awara and organic honey. To digest your meal and enjoy a dance for two, take part in the carnival of Guyana

. It is customary for women to dress up and invite men to the track... You know what you have to do!

No need to look on a map, the largest (and most beautiful) lagoon in the world is in New Caledonia

. 24,000 km² to explore with your better half on honeymoon. In the south of the archipelago, the Isle of Pines is a good spot for an underwater rendezvous, especially Kanumera Bay and Oro Bay, renowned for its corals and its natural aquarium with transparent waters. We dive for a one-on-one with the multicolored fauna and flora of the reef. Thousands of fish that come right up to your feet: angelfish, clownfish or damselfish fish... plus a few groupers! Back on land, we regain our strength by tasting a good Bougna. A traditional Kanak dish based on meat or fish accompanied by sweet potatoes, cassava and coconut milk, all cooked in banana leaves…

In terms of accommodation, the Ouatchoué eco-cottage is popular with hikers. This 400 ha green setting is ideally located between Nouméa, the capital, the Caledonian forest, rivers and mountain trails.

but also the ocean. Opportunity to learn about crayfish fishing in the basins of the property.

Lava tunnels to declare your flame in Reunion

Romantic excursion in the preserved region of the Sud Sauvage, in the south-east of Reunion Island.

It is called the island of volcanoes. And for good reason, Reunion has three including the very active Piton de la Fournaise which occupies 40% of the land. A huge playground for nature lovers and hikers. Exploring the lava tunnels with a guide is a fully-fledged underground experience for two. You just have to look up to admire the sparkling stalactites on the ceiling of the galleries or the stalagmites frozen to the ground. An excursion that raises the temperature before dinner.

In order to savor Creole cuisine, you can sit down at a table in a farm inn or picnic in the many parks of the island, attracted by the enticing smell of rougail and curry cooked over a wood fire, before enjoying the charm of Cana Suc rural cottages at the foot of the volcano. Not bad for declaring your love (or rekindling it)!

Navigating the 118 islands of French Polynesia would take a lifetime. We drop anchor and set our sights, not without ulterior motives, on Manihi in the Tuamotu Archipelago. An atoll renowned for its incredible marine biodiversity and its famous locally grown black pearls that shine as much as the eyes of lovers. Between two snorkeling trips, we go to visit a pearl farm to discover with fascination the history of this jewel of the Pacific and offer the apple of our eyes a souvenir of Tahiti and its islands.

Gourmets will find what they are looking for in the caravans, these traditional Polynesian restaurants where you can enjoy, casually, raw fish in coconut milk. A real treat !

In search of authenticity and cultural immersion, dare a honeymoon off the beaten track in a Small Family Hotel: private bungalows, houses with palm roofs, lush gardens. Tahiti and her islands are full of nuggets for a romantic and eco-responsible getaway.
