Britain imposes isolation for 14 days for those coming from abroad due to the Corona virus

British media reports said on Saturday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce on Sunday a 14-day mandatory stone imposed on most of those arriving on international flights "by air, sea or land", while the British Regional Airports Association considered that any quarantine should be reviewed regularly, considering The action "will have a devastating effect on aviation and tourism."

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to announce on Sunday a 14-day mandatory stone imposed on most of those arriving on international flights to Britain, which raised concerns of airports and airlines already suffering from the emerging Corona virus.

Johnson will announce the measure on Sunday evening, with the announcement of his plan to gradually lift the decision to impose stay on homes on March 23. He has already indicated that he will continue to implement the "maximum caution" policy with the slow decline in mortality in Britain, the most affected country in Europe, with more than 31,000 confirmed deaths from the Corona virus.

The Times wrote that, with the exception of flights from Ireland, all passengers arriving to Britain by air, sea or land must remain in quarantine for two weeks. The newspaper stated that a regular check will be made at the address provided by travelers with possible penalties and a fine of one thousand pounds (1,100 euros, $ 1,200) and expulsion.

For its part, "BBC" quoted government sources and the aviation industry authority "Airlines UK" as saying that this measure will take effect from the end of May.

And called on the aviation sector, already tense after aircraft stopped around the world after the outbreak of the deadly virus, to clarify government plans in an urgent manner.

Derek Provan, chief executive of AJS Airports, which owns and operates several British regional airports, said that any quarantine should be reviewed regularly, saying that the measure "will have a devastating impact on aviation and tourism."

And the Association of British registered airlines earlier warned that the quarantine would "kill international travel to and from Britain." "This will make it almost impossible to resume flying anytime soon, which will hamper Britain's economic recovery even more," she said.

On Friday, Environment Minister George Eustis warned during the government's daily press conference on the epidemic that "there will be no fundamental changes overnight and we will be very careful when we relax the current restrictions because the data that we provide daily prove that we are not yet out of the difficult stage."
