Vatican alert, due to Corona virus, after Francis' disease

On February 28, 2020
A case of distrust hovering over the Vatican, after the Pope, present-day Francis, decided on Friday to "postpone his official meetings today" at the Vatican Palace, as the Holy See, who had indicated on Thursday, said that the supreme pontiff had "transient malaise."

The Vatican media official, Matteo Brunei, said that, as every morning, the Mass commemorates the Liturgy in the Church of St.Marta at its headquarters, which is located within the borders of the Vatican State.

Francis also kept the meetings scheduled at his headquarters.

There is a special meeting scheduled with the President of the European Italian Parliament, David Sassouli.

The spokesman did not mention the health status of the 83-year-old Pope.

The Pope of the Vatican, who had symptoms of colds on Wednesday during an open-air mass, canceled his participation in a mass Thursday because he had a "passing health disorder."

Francis did not attend a mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Lateranese, as was announced by the Vatican media official Thursday.

The Pope, who suffers from problems in one of his hips and in one of his lungs, seldom cancels his appointments. It also often appears among the crowds shaking hands with those present.
