Lyubushkin gives Sabres overtime win in Tampa

 TAMPA, Fla. — Ilya Lyubushkin scored at 1:41 of overtime Thursday as the Buffalo Sabres had the final say 6-5 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.



Lyubushkin ended the suspense on a breakaway, scoring his first goal this season .

Tage Thompson scored his fourth hat trick this season.

The Sabres led 5-3 before late goals from Anthony Cirelli and Ross Colton.

The score rose to 5-5 on Colton's goal at 14:54 of the third.

Zemgus Girgensons and Jack Quinn were the Sabres' other scorers, while Eric Comrie made 36 saves.

Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman and Braydon Point also scored for Tampa Bay.

Andrei Vasilevskiy blocked 17 shots, but lost at home for the first time in 13 chances.
