Two injuries to the French national team before the match with Morocco
The French national team suffers from two injuries in its ranks before the upcoming meeting against Morocco, on Wednesday evening, in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar.
The French newspaper L'Equipe reported that the roosters performed their group training today, Monday, without duo Aurelien Tchoamene and Dayot Upamecano.
The newspaper revealed that Tshwamini suffers from a bruise in the calf muscle, and only performs a treatment program to recover from the pain.
As for Upamecano, he suffers from a sore throat, knowing that he is a mainstay in France's defense line next to his teammate Raphael Varane, the Manchester United player.
And L'Equipe confirmed, "There are no concerns about the readiness of the duo, Choameni and Upamecano, 48 hours before the match against the Atlas Lions."
France qualified for the semi-finals after defeating England (2-1), while Morocco advanced to the same round for the first time in its history by defeating Portugal with an unanswered goal scored by Youssef Al-Nusairi.
