President Donald Trump has warned that his country is entering a "horrific phase."

After it was officially contained in China, the United States is on its way to becoming the new front line for the epidemic. In New York City, a total of 2,624 deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll in the state to 3,565 deaths.

So Americans are preparing for the worst and building field hospitals from Los Angeles to Miami, home to thousands of extra beds for recovery alongside the landing of a gigantic medical ship in New York.

The number of confirmed cases of the virus on American soil exceeds 300,000. President Trump has warned that the United States is entering a "stage that will be really horrific" with "very bad numbers."
"It will probably be the roughest week ... and many will die," said the White House.

The director of the Institute of Infectious Diseases, Anthony Fuchi, an American expert who is a member of the Crisis Cell at the White House, stated that there is no longer any doubt that the virus is transmitted in the air "when people exchange talking, not only when coughing or sneezing."

As a result of this adviser’s statements, Trump advised Americans to cover their faces abroad.

But the World Health Organization confirmed that it was reviewing its guidance, but felt that protective masks can give a "false sense of security", may lead people to indulge in the issue of hand washing and social separation.

At least 63,437 people worldwide, including more than 46,000 people in Europe, have died, according to a tally compiled by Agence France-Presse, according to official sources, until 19:00 GMT on Saturday.
