The Italian government calls for avoiding transfers and prohibits rallies to combat Corona

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on Monday called on his citizens to "avoid movements" between the country's regions and imposed a ban on gathering, in an attempt to combat the rapid spread of the emerging Corona virus.

In a firm tone, Conte said during a press conference held at the government headquarters, "I will sign a decree that can be summarized as follows: + I need my home +. There will no longer be a + a red zone in the peninsula + (...) the whole of Italy will become a protected area."

"There is no time to waste. The numbers tell us that there is a big increase in the number of injured people and in the number of hospitalizations in intensive care departments, and unfortunately the numbers of the dead also. We have to change our habits. It has to change now."

For this reason, the Prime Minister stated, "I decided to immediately adopt more severe and more effective measures."

These radical measures, which were not immediately clear how to adopt them, will be detailed in the decree that will come into effect Tuesday throughout Italy, the second country in the world after China in terms of the number of HIV infections and deaths (more than nine thousand infected, 463 of whom died, 463 people died. ).

However, Conte pointed out that these measures will not include "limiting joint transportation, in order to ensure the continuity of" economic activity in the country "and to enable people to go to their business."

He added that closed schools and universities throughout the country until the 15th of this month will remain in this condition until the next April 3.

Conte also announced the suspension of the Italian Football League.
