The British Prime Minister infected with Corona virus, at a time when the United Kingdom recorded an unprecedented rise in death figures due to the virus itself. Less than two hours later, the British Minister of Health came out to also announce his injury.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that he had contracted the emerging coronavirus, following an analysis of the virus he had done, that he had been infected with. Johnson said in a statement on Twitter, today, Friday, that minor symptoms appeared on him during the past 24 hours, which prompted him to conduct the examination, adding that he is currently conducting domestic health isolation, but he will continue to lead the government and hold talks with its members via video technology.
For his part, a Downing Street spokesperson said that Johnson, 55, had minor symptoms on Thursday, a day after he attended a weekly session to answer MPs ’questions in the House of Commons. "The prime minister was examined for Corna on the advice of a senior government medical advisor, Chris Witte," the spokesman said. "The examination was conducted at the Prime Minister's residence in Downing Street, by National Health Service personnel, and the result of the examination was positive," the spokesman added.
Commenting on Johnson's announcement of a positive corona test result, the Buckingham Palace announced Friday that Queen Elizabeth had met on 11 March with HIV-positive Prime Minister Boris Johnson, adding that she was in good health. "The last meeting between the Queen and the Prime Minister was on March 11, and she follows all appropriate advice regarding her safety," a palace spokesman said.
Less than two hours later, British Health Minister Matt Hancock announced on Twitter today that he had been infected with the Coronavirus and said he was isolating himself at his home and suffering from moderate symptoms.
