Corona Virus: France tightens preventive measures and prohibits gatherings of more than a thousand people

The French authorities are continuing their efforts to try to contain the spread of the Corona virus on its soil, after recording nearly a thousand infections and 19 deaths since the end of January. President Emmanuel Macron will hold a meeting on Sunday evening for the Defense Council to discuss developments in the health situation and the measures to be taken.
